monsoon gains...

Two autumn chameleon leaf plants had to b plucked off by their roots since they were infested and two rose plants full of buds had to b trimmed to the hem.... they had fungus.... my aim of going completely organic incase of fertilisers and insedcticides is still on and i ll b making a neem infusion for spray by this evening.......... the star fruit will now have abt 6 mega sour products ready to use in the kitchen... i love to make some lip smacking salsa and chutneys out of those (karmala-starfruit)
I am extremely proud to have the 2nd chikoo in my garden plant almost ready to b plucked and eaten within a weeks time... i hope its grows as big and sweet and tasty as the 1st chikoo........ this is truely what we call.....fruit of labour! hehe....

weekend plans...

watched mumbai meri jaan and rockon last weekend and am gonna catch what happens in vegas today.....lets c if it makes me laugh till my stomach pains....... till then i have some phd application processes to complete in the morning , meeting up some prospective guides and having a look at their labs......... lets hope that i come to a valid conclusion by this evening so that the movie can b truely enjoyed... cheers to the new day!!!

ate out...

i wanted to eat out but in a non lavish simpler way, so we decided to zero down on a typical Marathi hotel called parichay at vile parle west. expecting it to b a typical home made maharashtrian touch, but wot we got to c was way apart from expectation. white linen tablecloths with a decent ambiance was very unlikely of our friendly neighborhood dhanashree caterers of the sathe's. a typical shivsagar kinda fragrance of pav bhaji masala drove us to the venue from miles away... the ac was a bit too much.....so we tequested for a corner seating but were constantly disturbed with funny inquisitive co-guests of the hotel as well as the staff (who seemed to want to know everything we were discussing) well.......the menu card was full with everything except marathi fare which made us thoroughly dissapointed...........its like going to punjab to have ukadiche modak and going to japan to have purnachi poli. so we ended up having chinese soup, punjabi starters southindian maincourse and continental desert. it was so funny and absurd dat we were laughing abt it. the only item in the menu was the thalipeeth which was pathetically tasteless. no onion, less salt and not a hint of sweetness....the coriander couldnt b spotted at all... the rest of the food (multicuisine one) was good though. we came back with not so good memories and decided never to go back again...

new outlook.... :D

i ve started painting full fledge now and i feel sooooo very great abt it. the inspiration comes from everything around, nature, ppl , life , festivals , colours, rains...........i feel the breeze now, i feel lighter all the way..........the air seems fresh and crisp. i feel the wind in hair...........i love to dressup now......mhy table though messy with colours seems to look so very calm and neat. i am on top of this world. i just wanna start writing poems again........ i am reading great stuff and thinking more abt doing unusual things....... i ve started talking to ppl, calling up old frnds..........enjoying life........... just saying thanks!!!! love the world.......
