yesterday i had one of the most comforting foods ever.... the humble pav bhaji..... ahhhh its taste still lingers in my memory. i thinks, food should appeal to all ur senses.....visual audible olfactory.....palatablity and texture.....all these matter so much that pav bhaji gives a tickle to each one of the senses and yet lingers on......and on and on.....i wont lie , every time i past across a fast food joint , what attracts me most is the pav bhaji aroma....its mystic, its indian very much indian i should say....and hooooooooooot.......n spicccccyyy......

i love the concept of khada pavbhaji were the veggies are not mashed in a paste but are kept with some of their bulk....and pulp.....u can actually taste the vegggies in tiny bits and pieces and they really retain their texture....ahh, u wud say, ha, this madam is giving a lecture on pav bhaji now she is gonna do her phd in d same.......???!!!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>hehehe nope dahlings, just that i am blown over this food and it makes me perk up whenever i am low....

who else does it better than our neighbourhood shivsagar joint. i am sure each and every place has its own shivsagar or shiv prasad or shivkripa.......many versions of shiv.......and all of them make equally great pav bhaji..........its the best in sardar pav bhaji at grant road..........each pav the size of a mini plate and smothered with one full amul brick, yes i am not joking , every pav bhaji plate at the sardar uses 100 gms amul pack in each.......andthe pavs are so soft....ummmmmm....... i am bowled over by that taste.....

shivsagar made me wait for very long for a single order, the seating arrangement was extremely uncomfortable, the place noisy and and crowd....no comments!!!! anyways, i returned home satiated......and it was worth forgetting ma calorie count!!! .........
