Birthday...

Its a fine dining Italian restaurant in juhu. Its not at all over d top...neither is it too flashy or fancy. Its nicely done up , small and in a way subtle n has got a nice romantic feel to it. (Not dat i seeked romance from d decor...) Its bang near vikram phadnis's studio chances r dat u might fail to spot it. Nice wood embelishments....earth italian feel. amazing chandeliers!!! Authentic italian music with an overpowering AC.We took a nice corner table amongst the charcoal coloured tiles, landscaped greenery and warm textures around. We ordered for a zuppe d' asparagus as a soup n a platter of antipasti to go with it.

delicately spiced mushrooms in cream sauce...turkish kebabs, mushroom parsley rolls n baked veggies on toast...garlic bread with dressings...n parmesean cheese cubes n oregano carrot roll covers...warm n a nice change of pallette.

then there was bruschetta prepared with very little oil. Also a penne pasta in buffalo cheese sauce n works for d main course. as side dishes we ordered garden colours tenderly cooked in tomato based sauce with brocolli florettes n bell peppers grilled to perfection. nice combo...

risotto with a pesto sauce along with babycorns n olives...and a thin crusty pizza to go with it...oops forgot to mention the dark chocolate martini along with the meal. gentle tones of chocolate balancing the spirit inside...settled for an all time favourite tiramisu and vodka fired mud cake with vanilla gelato. trrrrrueeeely italino....ummmmmmm!!!
